March 14 1990 the 'Uitgeverij DUO/DUO' foundation was founded. The aim of DUO/DUO is to publish books of high quality and originality. To live up to these high standards it's primairy interest is to select good photographers, designers and authors.

The publisher feels strengthened in his goal by the fact that four of his books were awarded a prize
